Person needing care in Grief and Loss by Counselor Patricia Sleebos

Grief and Loss

Grief is a normal response to loss, but when the sorrow refuses to abate, it can turn into complicated grief. Losing a loved one can be devastating; feelings of guilt, anger, and betrayal can surface. How does one pick up the pieces after experiencing such a loss? Grief may steal your joy for a time, but it does not have to last forever. Healing is possible through processing your grief story.

Family understanding Attachment principles

Attachment

Are you wondering why you love, feel and act the way you do? Breaking free from past relational wounds and healing from emotional injuries requires understanding beliefs that drive your style of relating to self and others. Through attachment interventions you can discover a deeper understanding to your story and develop a secure base that can give you freedom to be your authentic self, experiencing life and relationships to the fullest.

Marriage

Are you struggling in your marriage relationship? It is possible to overcome common rough spots and even serious problems through a hope focused approach rather than being problem focused. Changing focus can redirect relational connection and bring a new outlook on the future.
